David Ramsey is Executive Vice President of Greensboro Chamber of Commerce Economic Development, focusing on International Business Recruitment. David was previously Director of the Global Business Division of the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA), where he led a staff of more than twenty employees and was responsible for overseeing domestic and international business recruitment, trade and workforce development for the State of Mississippi. Before joining MDA, David served as Vice President of Economic Development for the Gainesville (FL) Area Chamber of Commerce and the Council for Economic Outreach. While in Gainesville, David worked closely with senior economic development and technology transfer officials at the University of Florida, his alma mater.
